Two Wheels. Two and a Half Years. The Whole World.

My name is Chris, also known as Moto-Sloat. I’m currently on a two-and-a-half-year motorcycle journey around the world, traveling through 7 continents, 53 Countries and visiting hundreds of cities to share stories, cultures, and road experiences.

As I ride around the world, I’m raising funds for The Homeless Youth Connection, hoping to double their resources and show kids that anything is possible, no matter where you start.

I’m Coming Home

My motorcycle journey comes to an end on September 13th 2025!

After 840 days, my journey will come full circle, ending where it all began in May 2023 — Arizona, USA.

Thanks for stopping by! This site is still under construction while I’m out exploring the world. Once I’m back, I’ll continue developing it. Until then, you can follow my adventures on Instagram — link below!

I left Arizona, May 27th 2023 & riding my motorcycle “SwayZ” around the world. ALL 7 CONTINENTS!
I have a goal of raising $1 per mile for HYAZ.org

Was it just a dream? Two years ago, after 6 months of riding and several obstacles, I arrived at Mount Everest. It’s one of the days where I can close my eyes now and every detail comes back to me. A day burned in my memory forever. #mounteverest
One year ago I was attempting the most stressful and intense part of my around the world journey. Landing two wheels on my 7th continent, Antarctica. First I had to cross the most dangerous sea crossing in the world, The Drake Passage. It took 4 days on a Russian sailboat, SwayZ strapped to the stern, with 50 foot swells. Four days of throwing up with no guarantee that I would be able to land the motorcycle once we arrived. Once we arrived at the Russian Science Base and received permission, my anxiety reached new levels. Seeing SwayZ suspended over the ocean by a few ropes, being pulled out to sea when attempting to pull the bike to shore with a few sciffs, racing an oncoming snowstorm and nightfall at the same time. The moment SwayZ’s tires touched ground I felt overwhelmed with joy and maybe the most proud of myself I’ve ever been. Not only did I dare to dream, but I allowed room for that dream to grow. While I was able to ride around a parking lot sized area there was too much snow still for me to take one of the roads to the other science bases. I was also not allowed to film myself riding.
Mr. Sloat, Please explain the two and a half year gap in your resume.
One month ago I returned home for the first time in 840 days. Thank you so much to everyone that showed up and helped make my last day of the journey a special one. #aroundtheworld #adventure #solotravel #motorcycleadventure #homelessyouth #dualsport

I think this is pretty fitting for my first time back in Arizona after 839 days. One more and I’ll be home. #aroundtheworld #adventure #solotravel #motorcycleadventure #homelessyouth #forrestgump

Thank you Scott for always watching over me. You were riding with me the entire journey. You’ve saved me from several close calls and somehow pushed SwayZ to safety when needed. I can’t believe how many times I should have been stranded and yet still found refuge. Every time locals gave me a tip or warning, I heard your voice and I listened. I love you and “will see you again, but not yet, not yet.” #Brothers
